Tokyo Teriyaki

Great food. The service and atmosphere was very welcoming. I ordered the chicken yakisoba, and my wife the salmon bento box. Delicious! I highly recommend you try this place.

First time here and will certainly be back!! The food was delicious and the portion size was large and filling. We shared the House Fried Rice which was Amazing! I had the Shrimp Tempura roll…Wow! She had the Dragon Roll that was Equally Delicious! If you’re looking for great food in Tavares come check them out!! The staff was extremely attentive and more than accommodating.

After seeing so many wonderful reviews we finally tried it. It was amazing!! Rice Bowl with teriyaki actually was flavored with teriyaki, not just favor and water. The Bento Box was more then enough for lunch. Can't wait to come back!

Very clean , service is perfect , food is excellent ..many possibilities . Lunch and dinner menu . I would show a picture of the food but I ate it all.

The stir fried noodles were so so good! Super fresh and hot with crunchy veggies and tender chicken. The service was fast and friendly as well. I will definitely be back to try other menu items. Slightly small portions, but for how fresh and yummy it was, I think it's definitely worth it.

The atmosphere was pleasant, and the service was good, but the food needed some improvement. However, with only one person working in the restaurant at the time (server, hostess, and cook), it's understandable that something would slip through.The pork egg rolls were cooked perfectly. The chicken katsudon rice bowl, on the other hand, was overcooked and soaked in a sweet sauce. This made the chicken dry and chewy, while the breading was wet with that sauce. I could barely taste the onion and egg in the dish. The rice was the only thing that was balanced with the sauce (if it wasn't being drowned on the bottom of the bowl). I'd recommend lessening the amount of sauce, but that is just my opinion.Overall, it was a lovely experience, and I can see myself coming back here. I would this a 4.5/5 if I could.

Its rare to see japanese restaurant that does not focus on SUSHI. Japanese food should be rice meals and noodles.Edit* Dec 2023. I reviewed about the serving size they serve.Upon trying out other Japanese restaurants around Lake County, I can say the food they serve is incomparable to the others. Quality and freshness of each serving is worth every single penny. Quality over quantity.(This restaurant offers good meals but the serving does not justify its price. Hoping they make changes with the prices or portion size.)

I've had plenty of Asian cuisine, and Tokyo Teriyaki gets 5 stars from me. Delicious food, great prices for portion-sizes, along with attentive and caring service. They have a nice selection of ramen, yakisoba, udon, as well as sushi. Their tempura cheesecake is awesome. The Boba tea is wonderful as well, and tastes "fresh" (some Boba tea Yates artificial, the tea here tastes authentic). There isn't anything negative I can say about this restaurant, give it a try if you haven't already. I plan on returning again. :)
